Fabulous Las Vegas!!!

VEGAS BABY!!! We took a short but SWEEEET trip to Vegas just before Christmas to watch Boise State Rock the Maaco Bowl against Utah! It was my first time in Las Vegas and I loved it! We went with some of our good friends Melissa, Tyler and Emily:)They booked the hotel suit and invited us to road trip down there with them!! We are so grateful for good friends! :) While we were in Vegas we stayed at a beautiful new hotel The Vdara which is right next to the Bellegio and Aria,It was breathtaking! We checked out the Strip, did some dancing, went sightseeing, a little gambling :P and of course went to the Bowl Game!! It was such a fun trip! A HUGE thank you to Tysons mom who watched the boys for us so we could enjoy ourselves!!!

Another on of my favorite parts was the HUGE christmas room at the Bellagio. It was over the top! And Decked out for Christmas. So amazing!

We meet up with some freindly Utah fans on the Strip! :) It was fun going back and forth with them about Boise St :)

After we got home from Vegas we were plenty busy between all of the Christmas and New Year hussle and bussle!! Next post!..... Christmas!!

Tyson took his very first swimming lessons this winter! I was excited to sign him up because he is VERY hesitant when it comes to exploring water and I really wanted him to be able to conquer his fear... We made some progress on that, and I think he would have made more if we didn't miss as many classes as we did. (due to Snow day, being out of town, sickness, and one day Tyson completely refused to even get in the water:( But for as many classes that we went to We are SO very proud of him and his accomplishments!

One of his biggest fears was letting ANYONE take or hold him where he couldn't touch, including Mommy and Daddy :( But he really warmed up to one of his instructors and let him take him out in the water for a few seconds! They had all the students wave their arms and legs in the water while the instructor took them around, when it was Tysons turn he just held on SO tight but came back with a Smile on his face! We were so excited for him!! He didnt want to to it the next time but I know the more swim lessons he takes the more he will get used to it! :) GO TYSON!!! We love you!!

Trick-or Treating, Pumpkins, and Sugar Cookies!

Our boys had a blast this Halloween!! Tyson spent the whole month of October just waiting to go trick-or-treating! We tried keeping busy through October, visiting the Pumkin Patch at Linder Farms a couple of times, painting and decorating pumpkins, and making yummy Halloween cookies for family and friends!!

Tyson has had to work every Halloween, so its kind of a tradition that my mom and i take the boys trick-or-treating, she is a lot of help and the kids love it...This year Jarom was our "Little Monster" which fits the attitude hes had lately perfectly :) Tyson was our cowboy/Woody!! :) he loved wearing his cowboy hat and horse!

These boys did great trick-or-treating! They were so independent and both walked most of the time! Tyson loved showing us the candy after every house and he was so perfect at saying thank you and even told one family to have a happy Halloween! Jarom was crazy about the candy! caught him a couple times eating right through the wrapper!!! They both loved seeing all of the decorations and costumes! Every scary costume Tyson would just eyeball them and say "thats fake right mom!??" And Jarom would scream "PUMPKIN"!!! Everytime he saw a pumpkin!!! haha!

By the end of the night both boys were on a sugar high :) Im sure the only reason they were able to sleep was from pure exhaustion!! :) Halloween was definitely a hit this year! My sweet blessings make every holiday more magical and special! I love that having kids really makes you see the holidays in a whole new light!!

Ok here are some pictures I found on one of my memory cards that I thought I lost! :) they are from earlier this spring and I think that these are hilarious! I have No idea why or how Ty got stuck in this high chair! All i know is that I couldnt get him out! I tried pulling and pushing and stretching and squishing! But he just wasnt coming loose! He thought it was funny at first, probably because i couldnt stop laughing saying "how the heck did you do this??" But as i pulled and pushed he realized that he was really stuck, and and he really wanted out, the tears started and i knew we had to call dad :) He was probably in there for about 45 minutes, then Dad came home from work and took his handy saw to the highchair and Yay! Tyson was finally free!!! Im sure this will be a funny memory to show him when he is older undies and all :)

So I know these pictures are way overdue!! Ive been slacking on my blogging but this is a post i didnt want to skip! These are pictures from the week Geri and her sweet family came to vist! It was wonderful to get together with family And much needed!!

One day while Geri was in town we spent all day at my father in laws house Celebrating his Birthday! Grandpa Walker set up the kiddie swing for all his grandkids which was a huge hit!!! plus a couple other fun things to keep the kids busy! it was a great day full of yummy food, fun activities and of course family!!

Another day was spent at Fuller Park for a Walker family reunion, that is put together every couple of months or so... It was a good time and even better that Geri and her family were able to be there with us all!!

One day was spent with Tysons Moms family, we spent the morning picnicking at Settlers Park, and the afternoon and evening at Marinas house visiting, relaxing and playing games! The kids really enjoyed having all of their cousins to play with!!

Our Boys are Growing Up....

Here Are some pictures I took one afternoon while the boys were playing outside, i figured i needed some updated pictures to put in our house and on our blog ,so I got my camera out and attempted to capture some memories, and these actually didn't turn out too bad :)

Jarom is such a sweet boy, he definitely knows how to get his way around here, i guess there's just somthing about those big blue eyes we cant resist :) and not to mention his contagious smile! He has such a kind gentle spirit, loves to cuddle and adores attention! Jarom gives the best kisses, and the way he just leans his head onto his shoulder and smiles melts mommy and daddy's heart! He likes reading books, going bye bye, and looking for bugs (ewww:) he loves animals and gets so excited when he sees them! and he especially loves eating! (this boy is my big eater!!) ...Jarom is learning more and more words eachday its so special to hear his little voice come out when he puts his words together, hes now walking down the stairs, and using a spoon and fork! He is growing so fast, but to us hes still our little baby :)

Tyson is our little firecracker! We love this handsome boy so much! He has such a sweet spirit about him, and has the ability to light a room up with his smile! He is so witty and has such a great sense of humor!! (He gets that from his daddy!) He loves to play with his cars, wrestle with daddy and jarom, help mom with dinner and has developed a sweet bond with our lab zoey! Going to work with daddy is his favorite thing and he is such a big helper!! Tyson can tell quite the story, this kid can talk and talk and talk! One of my favorite things is he knows how to deliver a compliment, for example i could be having the worst day ever and he'll come up to me and say something like "mom your eyes are so pretty i love you" and my day is immediately better!! He recently started pre-school twice a week for a couple hours, hes learning his colors, shapes and letters:) Hes growing up so quickly, it seems like just yesterday I was cradling him in my arms, we cant wait to see the amazing man he will become!

Tyson and Jarom love eachother so much! Tyson is finally understanding that he is bigger than Jarom, which alows them to be able to play more with less problems. Tyson protects his brother and consoles him when hes hurt,and jarom will stand next to tyson when hes in time out... Its so sweet to watch them make each-other laugh! They can be so silly with one another! Best sound in the world is those two laughing together!! They love to play chase in the backyard, and of course get into mischief! These boys are definitly brothers, but even better they are friends!

Soon after we got Tyson his bike we decided to take him to the greenbelt to practice riding it! He did awesome! And caught on really quick, while we were there we fed the goats and ducks too. Jarom LOVES animals and thought this was great! the ducks were so friendly and would practically eat right out of your hands!...I love days like these...

Since I have last blogged both of my boys have turned a year older! Jarom turned ONE in April and Tyson turned THREE in June! My boys are getting so big, its crazy!!!

We celebrated Jaroms birthday with family and friends at Grandpa Walkers house! Jarom loved opening his gifts, but wasnt to sure about all the attention when it came to the "Happy birthday" song and big cake:) he was crying then smiling guess he didnt really know what to think of it all:)...Jarom loved the playhouse that we got him for his birthday! He and tyson have so much fun in it!!! These pictures are over three months old of him, and he has changed a lot since his first birthday:)

We celebrated Tys 3rd birthday in our newly finished backyard this year!!! When i asked him what kind of a party he wanted he decided on mickey mouse, so his party was mickey mouse themed!! Compleate with a jumphouse, pinata, mickey mouse cupcakes and balloons, and a brand new BSU bike!!! He loved having all his friends and family there! and was super excited to learn how to ride his new bike!

We had to have Tysons Birthday a few weeks late because his birthday fell on fathers day weekend so on his actually birthday we took him out and had some family fun at the dairy days fair in Meridian!! It was a great day and we all had such a good time!!

My Mothers day was great! I was pampered and well taken care of, in fact i hardly lifted a finger all day :)....We spent part of our day at the park with some of our good friends, eating, playing and relaxing in the warm weather! My day ended with a nice bubble bath and a much needed massage:) Thank you Tyson for making my day so relaxing

Do you ever think back and really realize how fast time goes by, it seriously FLYS by!!! I especially notice this now that Im a parent... Does anyone else feel like something that happened a month ago could have seriously just happened yesterday??

I wish i could grab onto time and just make it slow down, It breaks my heart when I realize how fast my "Babies" are growing up, when this thought comes to mind, I make myself slow down take a step back and just let the moment soak in, my babies, their laughter, their sweet little smiles and innocent eyes, chubby short legs and their tiny little voices, they way that they depend on me for their everything, and yes even the whines and the cries, I just let them soak in, try to keep still pictures in my mind because one day they will be grown and time will wisp these days away.

I want to really cherish everyday the good and the bad, because I know that one day I will miss TODAY.

These pictures were both taken on Easter Sunday, exactly a year apart, Tyson is growing up so fast....

These are taken about 11 months apart! That newborn stage goes by SO fast! I can hardly belive my little baby will be 1 this month!!

As my kids get older holidays become so much more fun!! We had a great Easter this year and we were really able to incorporate some great traditions. The morning started out with a letter from the "Easter Bunny" who left clues, like a mini scavenger hunt, for Tyson to find his Easter basket, the letter also reminded Tyson what the real meaning of Easter is :) The boys loved their baskets with all the goodies! And they both loved finding the eggs the Easter bunny hid :) We spent the later part of the morning watching General Conference which was absolutely amazing and so spiritually uplifting!! Afterwords went to my Dads and spent the rest of the day relaxing, hunting eggs, eating yummy food and enjoying each others company. Our boys had a blast this Easter, and we loved seeing them so happy!!

Our Water Babies

Our boys love love love going swimming! Tyson was very hesitant the first time we went but after hanging out for about 30 min he got the hang of things! He is still very cautious about how deep the water is and doesnt like putting his face in, but he loves just doin his own thing! Jarom on the other hand has not a care in the world about the water, he will crawl untill the water is over his face if we let him! We have had fun taking them swimming, just seeing how happy it makes them, makes my day:)

Our living room makeover!

So i havent been able to post any of the things that we have been doing around our house since weve moved in, but now that i have a camera i can take a few pictures of our new living room and show you! Tyson and I decided on a budget so we could do something new and refreshing in our formal living room and I think for the amount of money we spent on our makeover it couldn't of turned out better!! I was so super excited to do this because I finally had the chance to turn my ideas and inspirations for the room into a reality!! Little by little my vision for living room came together!

We decided to paint part (2 walls) in the room green, now when i envisioned green originally it was not this color, I ended up having to paint one of the walls twice because the first green was Horrible!! After much debating and thought, luckily the second shade of green I picked out worked great!! I love this color! Its so refreshing, calming, modern and elegant at the same time! I love what a little bit of paint can do to a room!

We did a lot of pricing and shopping around before we bought any furniture, im glad we did because we got amazing deals!! I love the chairs, because it is a smaller room, they allowed the room to be more open but still seat as many as a loveseat would, I also made a padded seat for the piano bench that matched the walls, so there could be additional seating!

I know Im probably going on and on, but I really had so much fun putting the room together! Wish i had some before pictures so you could see what it was like before... Let me know what you think :)

I put together the frame/collage thing above the couch by buying old frames at a thrift store for super cheap and just sanded and repainted them and then just added my own idea to them with the ribbon, vinyl lettering and wooden lettter. On the frame in the middle I used crackle paint :)

The emblem on the piano is vinyl lettering and I added some of the green paint to it to tie it in.

The quote on the wall is one that Tyson and I had custom made, because we liked the quote so much, the saying is by is by President Monson.

I wanted chairs to give the room more of an open look, tyson actually pointed out these ones out when we were looking online, so he gets the credit for these beauties :)

The bookshelf is one of the first things we got for the room, we love it!

Our Friends Mom was getting rid of her piano, she asked us if we would want it and we were so happy she did because it fits perfectly:)

This mirror is at the bottom of our stairs, I love having the hooks they come in really handy for our jackets and my purse when we are in a hurry :)

I put this arrangement together and eventually i want to get a stand for it and put it on the other side where the ficus tree is...

The picture frame that is blank is not meant to be that way just havent got around to putting one in :)

This is the little padded piano bench that i made, kinda surprised my self with this one, so far its still holding up haha

So this is our new and improved sitting room...next on the to do list is our backyard, when we bought our house the back yard wasnt finished, meaning no side fences no sprinklers and no grass! The weather is getting warm and my boys so desperately want to play out side, so we are hoping we can get it finished soon! Pictures to come!

My Sweet husband turned 25 this year, February 19th was the big day! I know this post is late but we just got a hold of some of the pictures that were taken, and i wanted to be able to post pictures:) This year we wanted to get our family and friends all together so we had Tysons birthday dinner at Smokey Mountain Pizza!! So I finally bought myself a digital camera yesterday, since ours went missing/lost during the move :( I have been without one for almost 6 months now! One day I would love to save up the money and spend a good chunk on a really nice camera for photography purposes, but this one is pretty nice, it will do what i need it to do and I am just grateful to finally have a camera again!! I took little snapshots of the kids all day long!! ahhh it seriously is great knowing that i can capture all of our precious memories again!! yay! here are a couple pics i took of my baby boys! they are getting so big! I can hardly believe Jarom will be One next month!!

You know your a mommy when...

So my boys just recovered from a terrible week long flu! To say it was horrible would be an understatement. This was my first experience with my kids having the flu. And I just have to say this is one motherly duty that deserves an award! Im sure all you mommies would have to agree...

So it all started in the middle of the night when Tyson came in our room to tell us that he "burped" (this was the first time he had every thrown up so i guess that was his best way to describe it
;) After cleaning it up and putting him back to bed, the night continued in a similar fashion, puking and pooping everywhere!! I felt so bad for him, and was praying that Jarom wouldnt catch the bug, but in reality i knew he would, they are brothers that share Everything even colds...The next day Jarom caught the bug. I had too very sick boys, and i was one exhausted mama.

The puking lasted about three days, hmm 3 days might not seem too bad, but when you have two kids, 2 and under simintaniously puking,your trying to keep them in one place so they dont puke everywhere, while cleaning up puke that is already everywhere and changing diapers every half hour! Well 3 days seems to feel like an eternity! They both had diarrhea for about a week which i can admit was worse than the puking! Lets just say diapers dont hold diarrhea very well. We went through a box of Costco diapers in about a week flat!!!

So here are a few of my, You Know Your a Mommy When, moments:

1.) Your holding your baby and he starts to throw up, but you just hold him closer trying to comfort him and ease his pain, instead of setting him down because you would rather dodge the throw up.

2.) You dont get the least bit upset for your 2 year old puking all over your just washed sheets.

3.) You cry because your kids are so helplessly sick

4.) You dont think you can stand another day of it, but somehow you are able to get up in the morning with little or no sleep and do it all again, all because of the love you have for your sweet babies.

Being a mother is selfless. Its the hardest but most rewarding job there is. What other full time job is the payment pure love....

My love, My Valentine...

Awww, sigh, I LOVE Valentines Day, Love everything about it! But This Valentines day I Especially Love All 3 Of My Valentine Boys!...I know, Im one lucky lady!

We had a good Valentines day weekend! We spent most of it with Tysons friend Kevin and his wife Stacey. The weekend was spent visiting, watching movies, cruising the mall... We went on a double date to the discovery center and out to dinner at Famous Daves, which was delicious!! Were grateful we were able to spend time with them...
Tyson my SWEET Valentine, woke up and made us a wonderful breakfast, and surprised me with a beautiful watch! I love how thoughtful he is! He made the Perfect Valentine:)

Oh and speaking of Valentines, Looks like Tyson found his Valentine, (He looks pretty smitten if you ask me)

This is our friends daughter Breklynn, They came over the other night and he had fun playing with her... He kept trying to give her kisses and even spoon feed his fruit to her :)

WARNING: MY LONGEST POST EVER!

So I have been a horrible blogger lately! But I do have some excuses:)... One: I am very sad to say that i no longer have a camera...tear:( I lost it during the move, and i have been going through withdrawals ever since, hopefully I can get a new one soon, cause its just no fun to blog without photos. Two: We were in a horrible car accident (post to follow), and Ive just recently been feeling well, we've been staying busy with Dr. appts. Three: the holidays have kept us busy as well, and Four: (I know im full of excuses :) But we have been having a horrible time this winter battling sickness, my poor kids have been sick right and left! its exhausting...

Here is my little boy doing his breathing treatments,He is so brave :)

For example, just about 4 weeks ago both my kids were diagnosed with a nasty upper respiratory infection called RSV. It was probably the sickest I have ever seen my kids, that lasted about 2 and a half lonnnng weeks, being up every 2 hours or so with each kid was hard, Tyson seemed to just be feeling better recently when the cough got worse and the fever started! He seemed to be having a hard time breathing today so we took him to his pediatricians office to find his oxygen levels low and that he is being treated like he has A typical phenomena, so now hes on antibiotics and breathing treatments every 4-6 hrs. We are praying that Jarom doesnt catch it and that our Tyger feels better soon...

Anyways on to more uplifting news...well not really...

December 8th was Tyson and I's 3rd wedding anniversary! Usually that means a nice relaxing day,and romantic evening with the kids at the sitters....UGH NOPE! NOT THIS ANNIVERSARY!... lets just say we had a "relaxing day getting pulled out of our car and being rushed to the hospital by ambulance, and a "romantic evening in the Emergency Room. Laying next to each other, wincing in pain" hummm picture perfect right:) Ya, not really. So here's the Story;
We were on our way to Tyson's Dads house to drop the kids off. We were driving East on Cherry Ln. and slowed down to a stop, to let the traffic heading the opposite way pass, we were about to turn left into Tyson's Dads driveway when we were rear ended by a truck that was going full speed 50 mph! (he was looking down at his phone so he didnt even slow down when he hit us) we were pushed crossed into oncoming traffic into a ditch and slide about 25 feet, where we hit a fence that stopped us. (eww just writing this gives me goosebumps) The only thing i really remember about the whole experience is after the accident i remember laying flat down on my seat curled on my side facing Tyson with my hand holding the back of my head, the kids were crying, and my sweet husband was in shock but was calming all of us down and called 911. People were rushing around making sure we were okay. One sweet lady passing by came to my window and held my hand while she said a prayer... I didnt know it until a few minutes later that the warm sensation that i was feeling in my hand was blood dripping from my head, that kinda sent me over the edge. The ambulance finally came after sitting in the freezing cold for what felt like hours, but in reality was only minutes. They got the kids out first, they were shaken up emotionally but physically they seemed unscathed which was an absolute miracle, being that we were rear ended and the whole trunk was smashed in all the way and the back window was completely shattered. Then they pulled me out and put me on a stretcher and into a neck brace. Then into an ambulance where the proceed to cut off my favorite (not exaggerating:) jacket and sweater to properly place IVs and such.(at this point I was in no shape mentally to realize what clothes were being cut off of me, if i was i think i would have begged them not to:) When the paramedics asked my husband if he was ok he said he thought so and that he didnt need a stretcher. He then got up(still in shock) and started walking, he about made it to the ambulance when he passed out and went face first into the snow fallen ground. Our kids were meanwhile being very well taking care of by grandpa and grandma. The ambulance ride over was horrible, Tyson was going in and out of consciousness, and I felt like i had been hit by a truck ( literally hehe) but more seriously it was probably the worst part of the whole experience for me.. I was laying there not really knowing how my kids were, not knowing if my husband was going to be okay, just seeing paramedics rushing around us with somber expressions. I almost felt like i was watching everything happen from a different perspective. I was numb and didn't even feel the IVs being put in, or the gash on my head....
At the hospital, we were taken in and treated. We both had couple CAT scans done, and I had an EKG test. Overall I had 4 staples for the back of my head, a concussion, a neck injury, and major whiplash. Tyson had deep tissue bruising, major muscle tears to his back, and whiplash. Both of our boys checked out of the hospital just fine. .... But with how severe the accident was we are SO BLESSED to have come out of it with as little injures as we had! It was a complete miracle, We are just SO THANKFUL that our boys were unharmed. We know that our Heavenly Father was watching over us that day... So yes not exactly the anniversary we hoped for to say the least, but definitely a memorable one.

Chrismas 2009

Okay so no more depressing stories, but like I said this is a lonnng post, So I might as well write about it while Im sitting here right? The holidays were a rush, but Christmas was special, it was the first Christmas in our new home and despite our injuries we were able to get a Christmas tree put up (thanks to my mother and father in law) and we did have gifts for our boys under the tree come Christmas morning. It was Jaroms first Christmas, he had a blast, his favorite things were his suckers and the boxes and wrapping paper like most other 8 month olds on Christmas:) (his favorite gifts were his music table and pooh book thanks abulita and gma and gpa nutt:) Tyson got a 51 piece farm set, complete with a barn, animals, tractors, trucks,and people! the works :) He also loved his tool set from his aunt Nina and uncle Bob! The boys got so spoiled,thanks to all our family!... We also spent part of the holidays with My sister and law Geri and her family who were visiting from out of town, it was great seeing them!....

New years quickly approached with the event of Tysons Moms wedding, taking place on New Years Eve! It was a beautiful occasion and she was a breathtaking Bride. We are so happy for her and eternal companion! WE LOVE YOU TWO!

So There you are!! This is pretty much what The Walkers have been up to these last couple of months, Im sure there is more to say, but that would just make for an even LONGER post. This should suffice for now!!!

WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOME!!!! WAHOO! The LONG wait is over, and what long long process it was! It has been such roller coaster of a emotion that I don't even want to explain all of the craziness we had to go through to get to this point!! But trust me it was 6 months of complete chaos and Im just glad that that experience is behind us and that we finally have a place to call home!

So back to the main point! We love our home! Its a new, never been lived in home (Beachwood builders), 3 bedroom 3 bath 1862 sq ft. Some of our favorite features are the kitchen its so big and open, it has tile counter tops, and an island, We love the bonus room upstairs, no backyard neighbors, the boys "jack and jill" bathroom, the cabinets and of course the location! Its a three car (tandem) garage and the main thing that we have to finish is the backyard, come this spring We need to fence, put in sprinklers and sod... IT FEELS SOOOO GOOD TO FINALLY BE "HOME!!" We are staying busy unpacking and making our house a home! (more pictures coming, as soon as I can find what box my camera charger is in :) Because these are just the listing pictures from the internet....

We want to do a huge "Shout Out" to our awesome friends Zach and Megan, who let us stay in their home , while we were waiting on our house to close! Thanks So Much you guys! We really appreciated it! And also to our amazing real estate agent Coni Neighbor, with Market Pro Real Estate. She did a fantastic job, we couldn't have asked for a better agent! Thanks for all your help. We love our home!

So I figured now was as good as time as any to post pictures of our Halloween this year! This year was Jaroms first halloween and our little monkey slept through most of the trick or treating! but stayed toasty and warm in his comfy coustume. Tyson was a Fire Truck and he LOVED it! He still asks to wear it from time to time :) He totally got into the whole "knock on the door and get candy" thing. And he was very polite saying "wow! Thank you!!" He loved painting and decorating his pumkins too! This year we carved pumkins with our awesome friends Zach and Megan! I think they turned out great! Haloween was a hit this year!

Jarom had a Doctors appointment last week for his 4month check up! Daddy took him to his appointment because he also had to get his shots and im not much help when it comes to that part, i cry just as hard as my babies do, so i stayed home with ty. Jarom did great at his appointment and wasnt too fussy after his shots. We found out that our big healthy baby boy is in the 95th percentile for his weight at 18lbs 1 oz and 75th percentile for his height at 25 1/2 inches!!! Which doesnt surprise me at all! We love our lil Squeaker so much!!

Today I dug out one of our favorite toys, The Jumperoo!!! We had this toy for Tyson when he was a baby, and I wanted to to see if Jarom would love it as much as Tyson did! And he sure did!! Let me tell you, this has just been a life saver for me today!! Dont know why i didnt think of it sooner! It keeps Jarom so entertained!! He is the type of baby that always needs to be busy, so what better to keep him busy than bouncing! :)

Another great thing about this jumperoo is that it just seems to bounce my babies right to SLEEP! Both Tyson and Jarom fell asleep while bouncing in it! So i pulled up some old pictures of Tyson in the jumper to compare them with Jaroms! I would definitely have to say that we have gotten our moneys worth from this toy!! Priceless :)

I desperately needed some new pictures of my boys, so we went to the park yesterday and took some. The day didnt turn out exactly how i had planned... After i had gotten the boys all ready,i had to go to the store to buy an new memory card (cause I couldnt find mine) We finally get to the park and start taking pictures and my camera battery dies!! I was so upset. So I went to my moms to borrow her camera went back to the park, by that time the kids were not wanting to take pictures! Jarom would hardly crack a smile for the camera all day and Tyson being the two year old that he is just wanted to run and play! So we bribed him with skittles :) But all in all I think that the pictures turned out great!! I love my handsome little boys soooo much!!! (I couldnt choose which ones i liked the best... so there are a lot of pictures! Which ones are your favorite??)

Our little terrible 2 year old (not to name names) has been going through quite the artistic stage in his life. Deciding that our whole house is his own personal canvas. Especially the walls and our sectional!! We have since banned all markers and pens from being anywhere near his reach!! I cant believe that My Baby is 3 months old already!! He turned 3 months on July 22nd!! He weighs a wopping 16 lbs! and so far he has kept his beautiful blue eyes :0) Jarom is beginning to reach for toys and is really developing his own little personality! He loves watching his big brother zip around the room and loves giving his momma and dada smiles :) WE LOVE YOU JAROM!

Pine Lake Family Trip!

This post is a little late but we took a trip a couple of weeks ago with Tysons family up to Pine lake, which is near Sunvalley, and stayed in a gorgeous 4 story cabin and had a fun filled week full of boating, jet skiing, fourwheeling, dune buggys, motorcycles, games, hot tubing and family time!! We enjoyed our stay SO much! It was nice to get away from our day to day life and just relax!

I havent been able to post many pictures of Jarom lately so I just wanted to to do a little catch up and post some pictures of our Sweet Baby Boy!
Jarom seems to be doing better, we went through a couple of pretty rough weeks (rough to say the least), where he just seemed to cry ALL day!! but he seems to be feeling better, and hopefully those days are behind us for good... Jarom LOVES to be entertained and held all the time! He has started smiling and cooing! It is so cute! And amazingly he has blue eyes still! Im wondering if they will stay, which would be pretty cool since neither Tyson or I have blue eyes, meaning he must have inherited them from one of his grandpas!! We love Jarom so much and are loving getting to know him!

Jarom had his official "real" bath tonight! No more sponge baths! He loved the warm water, and seemed very calmed by it :) Lil Ty had fun watching his little brother get a bath and had even more fun making a mess with all the water!!!

Jarom is getting so big, so quick! Just look at his lil Pot Belly :) He is quite the eater!, he never skips a meal! I have a feeling that he is gonna be one chunky baby!

We are all adjusting to Life with the Four of us pretty well, we have kinda gotten into a routine and are all really getting the hang of this thing :) We were all pretty sick there for a while, Poor Jarom has a stuffy nose and a lil cough, and has to go into the Doc this week, but the rest of us seem to be recouperating quite well. Tyson starts his busy season at work here next week, Im a little nervous about him being gone so much :( Since he helps me stay sane most of the time.... We will sure miss daddy!...but we will be sure to keep ya posted on all of our new happenings!!

She is sooo amazing, recently she became ill about a week after she gave birth to our sweet son Jarom, and she still finds the time to get up and get ready for me when i get home. She tries so hard to keep the house clean, I know if it were me at home I would have gave up a long time ago on trying to keep it clean. She is my hero... when I get discouraged at work and i come home to that beautiful women who has spent the day taking care of our kids, getting ready for none other than ME, and cleaned the house a bit, it always makes my life worth living. Not to mention the spirit she posseses, the way she raises my kids and keeps this house just brings an overwhelming spirit of love and peace. So basically what I'm trying to say is I LOVE MY WIFE, I would be nothing without her!

Our sweet son finally arrived on April 22, 2009 at 4:52 pm, weighing 7 lb 9 oz and 20 inches long! We are so blessed to have Jarom here with us! He has such a sweet spirt and we are enjoying getting to know him! Little Ty is quite the big brother, he wants to be involved with anything his little brother is doing, and has pleanty of kisses for Jarom too. We definitly have our hands full with the two of them. As for us we are adjusting to having double duty :) and less sleep, but are loving the new addition to our family !!! Easter And My Bithday!

My Birthday fell on Easter this year! So we celebrated 2 holidays in one day! Easter Sunday was such a great day! The day started out by Tyson making me a wonderful Birthday Breakfast! I was so impressed and proud of him! It tasted so good :)... Lil Ty got a toy motorcylce in his Easter Basket, he loved it so much! He played with it for about 2 hours straight!!!

The weather was beautiful, we spent a lot of Easter outside hiding eggs and at the park. Grandma and Grandpa Nutt came over and visted with us, we went on a walk to the park and lil Ty was able to have some fun with his Uncle Patrick....Tyson loved hiding eggs once he found out that there was candy inside of them, he caught on real quick! Later on in the evening, Tysons Family came over to get together for my birthday and Easter! We had cake and ice cream and I got some wonderful gifts!!! Thank you everyone for making my Birthday and Easter great :)

A couple of weeks ago I got Ty a "boy" baby doll, I wanted to teach him how we handle babies and how we need to be gentle. I heard from a couple of people that getting a boy a babydoll can help them learn how to be caring before a new baby comes

....... Now Tyson was a little hesitant about getting our "son" a "babydoll" .....

My awesome friend Megan threw me a baby shower Saturday! I am so gratefull for all of my friends and family who were able to make it! We had such a great time! Plenty of yummy food to eat! pregnancy update....

So I just thought I would keep everyone updated about what has been going on with the pregnancy...I went to the Doctors yesterday and found out that I am 1 centimeter dialated and 70% effaced! Its a start so Im happy :) I am getting very uncomfortable and huge!! Even the smallest of tasks makes me sooo tired! Im achey and emotional! So I think that it is definitly time to meet this little one!!
I must look pretty miserable and like Im about to pop cause I get comments everywhere I go; my favorite: "Oh my! Are you having twins! and "Oh honey Im so sorry, you look miserable! You must be due any time!" hahaha thank you so much for that complement!!
My due date is April 17th but I have been getting contractions pretty often so I have a feeling he may be coming sooner. ( Im keeping my fingers crossed :) Im not planning on being induced unless I have to be so I am prepared to have to wait untill my due date..... Hopefully I can get some pictures of my belly posted soon for everyone to see!!!

Me and a couple of my friends (Melissa and Megan) had a much needed girls day last week! We went out to lunch to Chapalas, and then to get pedicures! Which for me was much needed since i cant reach my toes anymore let alone hardly see them :) Its was great to be able to see Melissa since she lives in Colorado and It was so relaxing and nice to have some "girl talk" Im sure i will need to get used to the lack of girl talk in my home because in a few weeks im going to be very outnumbered by my husband and sons!! Tyson turned 24 on Thursday! For his birthday, everyone pitched in, and we got him a top of the line computer! That he absolutely loves, it will be great for some of the gaming that he does :)!! On his birthday he was able to do what he loves most which is just to RELAX and get a massage:) We also went over to my parents for a wonderful Birthday dinner, complete with Cake and all! Update! Update! Read All About It!!

This last month has been a pretty mellow month for us, Tysons job is in its slow season so we have been spoiled having daddy home a lot of the time:)We have been able to enjoy relaxing movie nights at home together, and been able to have game nights with our friends, Zach and Megan, which always turn out to be so much fun!! Its been so nice having Tyson home, Im pretty tired of this cold weather but dont want summer to come too soon because I have enjoyed having my hubby around and will miss him come summer :(

On a lower note, We have had to be at the doctors for lil Ty quite often lately :( We recently found out our poor lil guy has allergies to; eggs, cats, and they are still doing some testing for others... We also were at the doctors yesterday because of Tys cold and found out that he has Bronchitis!! He is on antibiotics and has to do regular breating treatments :( Despite his cold he has been in pretty good spirits!! Most of the time he is as happy as ever and you couldnt even tell that he was fighting an infection!! What a strong lil guy we have!!

I am now about 29 weeks along and Jarom is growing faster than ever!! (As you can see from the pictures :)... He is having a great time being quite the little gymnast doing all sorts of crazy movements in my belly! If I hadnt seen for myself I would be convinced that there were two in there!! So far this pregnancy has been going pretty well, besides the horrible reflux that I have just began to get!! It has been really painful but I am working with my doctor on ways that I can allevate this pain. I just hope it doesnt get worse during these last few months :(...I already have so much love for my sweet son! We cant wait to meet him! Only about 2 1/2 months to go!!! Crazy how time flys by so quickly!

Becoming a Reality...

Today I was laying on the couch relaxing and watching my sweet lil Tyson play with his toys, and baby Jarom started kicking me. It has really hit me lately and especially then, that not to long from now I will have a newborn and be a mommy of two! I have so many emotions about this, most of the time I am excited and cant wait to welcome this new addition to our family, but there are times when Im scared and nervous about this big change in our lives! I am nervous about tyson learning how to be a big brother and my ajustment to having two babies!! My amazing hubby has been here for me through my worries, he listens to me and reassures me that everything will be ok and daydreams with me about our growing family! I just love him so much! I am so grateful for my family!!

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! We were able to spend time with both Tyson and my family! And it was so fun to watch Ty open his presents and the excitment on his face when he saw his new toys! My hubby surprised me with a new digital camera!! (Cannon Powershot) which I wasnt expecting at all!! I love it, it has so many nice features on it! Ive had fun learning how to use it! Thank you everyone for all the gifts and making our Christmas so special! We love you All!

My poor hubby has been in a lot of pain lately:( The day before Christmas Tyson was snowbording in his dads field while his dad pulled him on the snowmobile, while he was going off a jump somthing went wrong and he crashed:( he was hurt pretty bad and was able to get into the doctors a couple of days later, they had taken some x rays and the result was that Tyson had cracked his chest wall and dislocated and relocated his shoulder all in the same fall! There is really nothing they can do for a cracked wall, so he has just been taking it easy, he should start feeling better in 2 to 4 weeks. Please keep us in your prayers :)

Monday night Santa (Grandpa Walker:) made a special vist to our house! It was so fun to see Tys reaction, He had no idea what to think! His eyes were huge and his mouth hung open the whole time! We finally got our christmas tree! Im so happy I love the smell, decorating it, and the excitement it brought to little Ty to see a TREE in the house!!

Ty had fun watching us decorate it and even got to help, although he wanted to pull everything off rather than put everything on!

But I think that he had fun playing with the lights more than anything else ;)

Its fun to think that in April our little family of three will be four!!!

Im sure a lot of you are wondering how we are doing with Ty and the tree, well so far so good! We've had to tell him no, and dont touch a few times, but for the most part he listens...He just walks around pointing at the tree saying "dont, dont"!

Yesterday December 8th, was our 2 Year Anniversary! Yay!! We had such a great day celebrating together! We enjoyed our special day going out to dinner, going to the same photo both where Tyson proposed and taking pictures :) playing at the arcade! I love Tyson so much! I am grateful for my Sweet Husband who is loving,humorous, hardworking and strives everyday to be a great husband and Father!! I meet and feel in love with Tyson when I was 16! He was my high school sweetheart! We were married December 8th 2006!!
These Past two years have been wonderful, full of memories that I will cherish forever...I cant wait to see what the future has in store for us!

This past week my Sister in Law was out of town, so we had the privilge to watch her sweet dog, Abby!! Im not really an animal person at all, but seriously I was so happy to watch her! She is the most well mannered dog ever! She has been raised around 4 kids and she does so well with them! Ty has been terrified of big dogs for a while, he would cry and want picked up when they would walk in the room and he was just as afraid of Abby too! But having her around this last week has really helped him cope! He is now hugging, kissing and even climbing on her!! Tyson and I have also enjoyed her she has made me feel safe and its nice to have someone so happy to see you when you get home! :) She will definitly be missed! We wish we could keep her!!

Yes thats right we are expecting a boy in April!! Im so excited for Tyson to have a little brother that he will be so close in age to!! There is nothing like the bond between a mother and her son and Im sure all you mothers of boys can relate, I feel so blessed, I am so happy to welcome this little one into our family!

We just finished putting Ty to bed tonight and I just thought I would share a moment that warmed my heart. We have been saying bedtime prayers with Tyson, teaching him to sit still, close his eyes and fold his hands. At first it was just a funny thing to him, time to crawl on Mommy and Daddy and play, but recently he has been sitting still, being quiet and watching us as we pray. Well we ended our prayer with "Amen" and quickly after a small voice says "Amen", well more like "mennn" :) It was so special to me to see Tyson following our example! I am so proud of him! I love my sweet baby he truly means everything to me...

Halloween was fun! Ty was finally old enough to go trick or treating and realize that he was actually getting candy!!! Tyson had to work on Halloween this year so the day before we took him trick or treating around to our family! Then Halloween day my mom and I took him around the neighborhood. He got the hang of the whole "trick or treat" part pretty quick, but most of the time when the people opened the door he would try to walk right in :) He loved seeing all of the other kids walking around in their costumes!

Tyson loves to sing and do the motions to "itsy bitsy spider" so this year he was our littler spider! Here are some pictures of our Halloween!

So I went into get my hair cut real quick the other night, kind of a spur of the moment thing. I wanted it about medium lenght, longer than my chin so I was able to still put it in a ponytail. I had it like that before and really liked it! Well the lady must have heard somthig compleatly different because its a lot shorter and I can only put part of it in a pretty pathetic looking ponytail! And for those of you who know me I am usually just a ponytail kinda girl! So we'll see how this goes! I havent had my hair this short since 10th grade! But I think I can get used to it! It will be somthing different and hopefully easy to style! So I guess you could say that Its growing on me :)

Baby Bump!

Im showing now so I figured that it was about time to but some pictures of the baby bump on here! I am almost 15 weeks pregnant and finally in my 2nd trimester so Im starting to finally feel better and get some of the energy that Ive been lacking back!! Our little peanut is about the size of an orange, around 4 inches long and weights around 2.5 ounces! The heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood per day!!Our little peanut is able to suck its thumb and make facial expressions such as frowning, smiling and squinting!!.... So what do you all think that we are having??!! Little Girl or Little Boy? It would be fun to hear your opinion!??

My First Ultrasound!

Today I finally had my 1st Dr. Appt!!! We were able to go right into ultrasound to see our sweet baby! I was so happy! I am measuring right around 13 and a half weeks! So my due date should be April 18th! Our Lil Ones heartrate was 164! And everything looked great at this point! From what I could tell this one was a lot more calm and slow moving then Our LIL Tiger was! He was constantly moving in his ultrasounds :) Our Appt to find out if we will be having a lil boy or lil girl will be on December 1st! We cant wait! Oh and I am seeing a new Doctor at St. Lukes this time around, his name is Dr. Hodges, I really really like him so far!! Here is a picture of our sweet lil angel!

Ok so i know that each and everyone of you woke up this morning and thought to yourselves " What 6 Random facts can i learn about the Walkers today!!" :) So for all of you out there, Here Ya Go!

Oh and because this is "Our Family Blog" we will split up the facts between us :)

ME

1.) I am probably the biggest fan of honey mustard you'll ever find! Seriously I love the stuff! My all time favorite Honey mustard can be found at Red Robins!!! It actually has Poppyseeds in it and is to die for!!! :)

2.) Unlike most of you, I have NO gallbladder! And can i say that I am just so happy about that!! I got it removed in March and that darn thing caused me severe "mystery" pain for 6 months, until I absolutly couldnt take it anymore and went in to the ER and after calming me down with 4 shots of MORPHINE and 2 shots of DILAUDID which is a way higher drug that morphine (1mg Dilaudid =10mg morphine) to find out that it was my gallbladder! I had it removed just in time, or it would have caused me many more serious problems!! yay for modern medicine!

3.) I would say I am a very aggressive driver :) I really am working on this :) I always drive 5 over the speed limit and when people are going exactly the speed limit or under I get very upset! :) and usually try to pass them. Oh and I hate hate driving in Boise, it has gotten a lil better but I still drive so tense because I usually feel like I have no idea where Im going! So I guess if you see me in Boise Im usually the one driving under the speed limit, making the other "aggressive drivers" mad!! hehe

TYSON

4.) I think Tyson has seen 90 percent of the movies made and he remembers lines in the movies SO well!!! Like we will be driving and he will say a line and be like what movie what movie!? and i have no idea! or we will be talking and somthing will remind him of a line in a movie and again usually i will have no idea!! I think it is a fun little fact about my hubby ;)

5.) Tyson is an awsome dad! He is such a kid at heart that when he plays with Ty it is just the funnest thing ever! They both have such a great time playing I love to watch them interact!He also knows how to discipline well and helps me out so much with daily things dealing with Ty. Our son loves his daddy so much!

6.) Our son has a shoe fetish! Seriously He loves shoes (especially daddys!) he loves to put different shoes on and try and walk around the house :) And is constantly bringing me his different shoes and we are always taking them on and off!
He must have gotten this trait from his mommy!

Reasons I love fall!

I love all the seasons, but my two favorite seasons would have to be spring and fall! There is just somthing special about how summer turns to Autumn... Here are just some of the things I like about fall...I love the cool crispness in the air when you take a deep breath in, I love all of the cinnamon, pumkin, and apple spice sented candles. All of the deep colors of fall and the beauty of the leaves changing!! Pumkin patches and football games!! The beginning of the holidays...Especially Thanksgiving and pumkin pie! Watching the leaves fall and remembering how we used to pile them up and jump in them again and again as kids!! Warm Apple cider and Hot Coco!
And my favorite... Tyson's work load slowing down and having time to cozy up to a warm fireplace!

Bachelorette Party!

One of my good friends Amber is getting married on October 10th! We have been friends since we were about 11 years old, and she has always been such a good example for me as a friend! I am so excited for her and this new part of her life she is about to start! Although i am extreamly sad that she will be moving to Washington for the next couple of years where her husband (who is in the army) will be stationed!!
This past weekend a bunch of us girls got together to celebrate her bachelorette party in boise! It was a lot of fun! We went out to eat at P.F Changs (so good :) then went and did a little shopping, and went back to her hotel suite where we enjoyed food, games, swimming and mini pedicures! It was definitly a fun night!
I love you Ambi! I know you will make such a beautiful Bride!! Congrats!

One of the games we played we had teams and had to make a wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress out of toilet paper! And our team Won!

Time Out...

Earlier this month Tyson and I along with 2 of his siblings and their spouses went to a program called Time Out For Couples! Neither of us were quite sure what to expect but it ended up being quite a memorable night!

The hosts of the event were Brad & Debi Wilcox who were so funny! He really had a gift of humor and I think we laughed the hardest we have in a long time!

There were 2 speakers first we heard from Doug Brinley who spoke about "Living a Covenant Marriage." He had great insights on marriage and really made you 'think'

Second speaker was Kim Nelson who was hillarious and really seemed to hit everything right on! This was my favorite presentation!

There was also a great musician Peter Breinholt. This man is incredible and I really loved his music! Everything he sang about was so sincere! Im sure i will be getting some of his Cds!

The night was great and I really learned alot about marriage and the common problems we all face! It was uplifling, entertaining and spiritual! I am so grateful for my marriage and my loving Husband!!

The next day Me, my Mother in law Connie, and My Sister in Law Kara Were able to go to Time out for Women! For those of you who dont know what it is it's a day long seminar type thing specifically for women. There are several speakers and singers who talk about living more virtuous, living to our fullest potential, and growing closer to the Savior! There were many speakers who I loved so I couldnt pick a favorite! There were also singers there including Jenny Frogley who has an amazing voice and powerful lyrics! I am so happy i was able to experience this! I loved going to this because it just refreshed my mind and filled me with the spirt!! And reminded me that I am a Daughter of My Heavenly Father!!!

YEP!!! WE ARE PREGNANT!...again...about 7 weeks along!!! We are both very excited!! And we know that Tyson is going to be a great big brother!!

We had a lot of fun telling our families, we told my side of the family by telling them we wanted to show them a cute outfit that we had bought for lil tyson, when they looked at the shirt it said "Im the Big Brother" :) Most got it right away!!

We recently returned from our trip to Utah, we had a really great time and were also able to vist one of Tysons friends, Kevin, while we were there! We spent much of our time at Temple Square (it was my 1st time there :) It was a great learning and Spiritual experience for us! There is so much to see and do there, it is just beautiful!
Also while we were in Utah we went to the Zoo, which Lil Ty absoluty loved! He looked at all of the animals with such fasination! We went to Antelope Island to see the Great Salt lake, visited the Planetarium, Liberty Park and The Gateway center! It was a nice little getaway for us!
On our way home we stopped in twin falls had lunch, saw Shoshone Falls, and went to the Temple Open House!

I finished Breaking Dawn this morning! And I just have 2 words for it...LOVED IT! I can't tell you all how excited I was for Breaking Dawn to come out, I got Breaking Dawn at 12:00 AM when it realeased on Aug 2nd, after standing in line at walmart with my Sister in Law (Kara :) for about 45 min! :) . I know I shouldn't be acting like a teenager, but once I started with the series I was hooked. It being the longest book i ever read, i did pretty good with time, although a few things got neglected, everyone survived!:) This book was so much different than I expected, but in amazingly good ways. Although I am sad that the series is over...sigh...

I have to say that this book has taught me so much about life, love, sacrifice, and about what's really most important. It's helped me realize that becoming the person I want to become isn't something that is going to just happen on it's own.Anything that is worth having (or becoming) is worth fighting for. I'm not a person that usually gets symbolism or hidden meanings very well, but after finishing this book I just got It! And it really made me think!

I wish all of you out there happy reading, and let me know what you think when you're done. If the book starts to freak you out a little like it did me, I promise it'll be all worth it in the end :). I don't know if all of you will get the same things out of it that I did, but at the very least you'll hopefully appreciate and love your family more. Plus you'll get a heck of a great story!

Look What I Can Do!!

Our Sweet Son has been so busy growing up and accomplishing things in these last two weeks! We are so amazed at all he can do and how smart he is becoming! (Yes we are very proud parents!) So this post is a HOORAY for Tyson! Here's What Hes Been Up To:

1.) It all started when we found him upstairs with Daddy's shaving cream, thinking that he was all grown up and trying to be just like Dad!!! He found himself pretty amusing!! So did We!!!

2.) He Wants To Walk Everywhere! He is doing such a good job walking (becoming quite the Pro), and can even stand himself up without holding on to anything! He is so determined to get this whole walking thing down, that falling doesnt even phase him! Go Ty! (Here is a quick video)

3.)He is starting to put many more objects with words! He knows what I am saying with many simple phrases! So I decided to point out different body parts and tell him the names! I was surprised how fast he caught on! In just a few days he learned; belly button, mouth, and just new today...eyes! (here is a quick video from my phone! Sorry its Dark!)

4.) Tyson loves animals, especially Cats! Whenever my Mom babysits him she always takes him outside to find the cats, as they go outside she says "here kitty kitty" Recently Tyson has been pointing at his book or pointing outside saying KKKKey (aka kitty) It is really is one of the cutest things to hear his little voice calling "kitty kitty!" 5.) Tyson is growing so fast and so is his hair! So it was time for a haircut! I have trimmed his hair plenty of times with little to no problems! But this time there were problems :) He decided that he just didnt want to hold still for me soooooo... he ended up looking like he took the scissors to his own hair! I decided to take him to the salon to see what they could do for me :) He sat there on my lap like a little angel the whole time while they cut his hair!! I couldnt believe it!! :) but his haircut turned out terrific! He looks so Handsome! This was his First Professional Haircut!

I Love my Sweet Boy so much! I am so thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed and trusted me to raise such a sweet spirit!

This weekend Tyson was able to get some time off, so we were able to go camping with Tysons family for a couple of days! We went up to Boulder Park in Oregon, which was about a 3 hr drive! The place we camped was absolutly beautiful so it was worth the drive! During the camping trip my Mother-in-law was proposed to!! On a bridge overlooking a gorgeous waterfall! With the initials WYMM? We spent the two days playing games, hiking, playing charades in front of the camp fire, swimming, horseback riding and relaxing! Lil ty loved being outdoors all day and getting to play in the dirt! We were happy to get away for a lil while but are happy to be back home too!

Tyson officially took his first steps yesterday!!! (4 to be exact ;)Mommy and Daddy and Uncle Michael were all there to see it! And it was completly his own idea! We are so proud of him!! It is amazing how far he has come in a year! We love you our sweet little Tyger Man!!! Hooray for YOU!!

Fourth of July Weekend!

Ya Ya I know, Im a lil late on the whole Fourth of July blogging thing,since the 4th
was over a week ago! Things got really busy and i havent really had a chance to take some time out and post a blog about our weekend! But "better late, then never" Right? During the day on the 4th we went to Discovery Park with Bob and Marinas family and barbecued! It was really enjoyable and the weather was perfect! After Tyson got off work on the 4th, We went on a little walk and then came home and decided to light off some fireworks that we had bought!As soon as it begun to get dark our subdivision basically lit up with lights and sounds from all the fireworks lil Ty was amazed by all that was going on and was looking every which way trying to figure out what was going on! Ty loved watching the bright colors from the fire works! But he hated the loud bangs and screeches that they made! Later that night after baby Ty fell asleep we went over to my parents and let of some "big boy" fireworks! At first we were reluctant to go just because it was so late, but in the end we were happy that we went. Tyson had a good time lighting off fireworks! Its funny to see how men can turn in to such kids around the 4th! I guess its just the excitement of getting to "blow things up!" Beats Me???

Also over the fourth of July weekend we floated the Boise River with my Parents, My siblings and some of their friends! We all had a pretty eventful time! Even though the Boise river is supposed to be known for relaxation and not exactly for its rapids, we had a raft deflate, a couple of rafts crash into a log and a tree, and a near death experience; my brothers friend decided to grab onto a hanging branch while floating and it riped her out of her raft she didnt want to let go of the branch because she had asthma and was afraid. So my Dad ended up saving her and the current took them about 50 ft down the river. During that time my brother lost his $200 Oakley Sunglasses and was pretty upset the rest of the trip! Despite our setbacks we did get down the river and did have some time to relax! It all ended well with a yummy bbq! WAITING TO GET PICTURES OF US ACTUALLY FLOATING THE RIVER! I WASNT BRAVE ENOUGH TO BRING MY CAMERA! SO MORE PICS COMING SOON!!!!

Overall our 4th of July weekend was really great! I am so thankful for the Country that I live in and all of the Freedoms that I get to enjoy! At times I take for granted all the blessings Heavenly Father has bestowed upon me! What a great time of year to remember these blessings!

Vampire Baby??

Tyson has been teething horribly these past few weeks! He bites on just about anything or ANYONE he can find! We think that it is quite funny how his teeth are coming in! Of course the two bottom ones came in first, and then we were expecting the two top ones to come in next, Nope! The next ones to come were the two vampire teeth!!! Its been a couple weeks now and still no top front teeth! So it leaves us at the conclusion that we have a Lil Vampire baby!
