Just a Thought

Before I was a mom I didn’t think I could get so happy over a simple grin, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn’t want to put him down. I never spoke baby or baby gadget. I never thought a wet and drooley kiss could be so sweet.
Before I was a mom I never knew the bond between a mother and her child could be so strong, I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn’t stop the hurt. I never tripped over toys or made up the words to a lullaby.
Before I was a mom I never I had never changed so many dirty diapers or ever imagined sniffing one :)I had never been puked on, chewed on, Peed on, or had my hair pulled on by tiny fingers with out thinking of it as a normal occurrence.
Before I was a mom I didn’t realize how beautiful “mama” could sound. I stayed up late and slept in as long as I wanted. I never got up every 10 minutes in the middle of the night just to make sure that everything was alright.
Before I was a mom I never worried so much. I always changed my clothes when they were stained and I would talk on the phone for hours. I would take 20 minute showers and my legs were always shaved.
Before I was a mom I never worried if the coffee table had sharp edges and never realized how exciting crawling could be. I never gave a second thought about immunizations and don’t recall being so frustrated with doctors.
Before I was a mom I never knew something so small could affect my life so completely. I never imagined being able to love my child so much. I didn’t know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a mom.
My life has changed there’s no doubt, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Memorial Day

Memorial Day

Today was quite the surprise! Tyson actually had the day off! YEA! Which was amazing, because he almost always works on holidays! But nope, not today :) So we decided to have a little picnic at Fuller Park! And it turned out to be a great Memorial Day; ty loved the swings, the weather was perfect (mid-seventies) and food was wonderful ( all except the jello) :) The only downfall,i forgot to bring my camera :( but i did have my phone, (Dont you just love technology) the pictures turned out a little blurry but they will have to do!!

Summer is Here!

Tyson absolutly loves being outdoors! For the longest time he has had an "issue" with the feel and texture of grass and wouldnt leave the blanket that we had layed out, but apparently, as of today, he no longer cares! He was very busy exploring and was very curious about everything that he came upon (like this dandy lion!) It was precious! I have really cherished every miniute with him, today especially, because i have realized that my baby is growing up way to fast for me, last May he wasnt even born yet, now here he is crawling around, knowing exactly where he wants to go! Time passes by much to quickly!

Swimming!

It was tysons very first time in a swimming pool, about a week ago when we went to grandmas to go swimming because the weather hit record high temp for may! ( you have to love idaho weather!) And he absolutly loved it! He was so excited i could hardly get him to hold still for a picture!

Poor lil Ty!

Baby ty has been sick for about 2 weeks now!! What a trooper he has been. Although I am getting extreamly fusturated because he just cant seem to shake it! It started out with a cough that had a lot of mucus :( so i took him into his pediatrician who told us that it wasnt in his lungs and to use a humidifier...and that he also had a yeast infection! :( (which is extreamly painful for him) so i left thinking that his cold was no big deal and that it would soon be over! WRONG! Tues night we took him into the ER he had a 104.3 deg temp!!!! He was percribed antibiotics and sent home! the next day he still had a temp of 103 so we have been giving him tylenol which seems to help. He seems to be doing a little better today although he hates taking all of his medicine and the antibiotics seem to have made his rash worse! We are going back to the Dr Tues! if not sooner! Despite everything lil ty is still able to smile and make the best of things! Please keep us in your prayers! I will keep everyone updated!

Our sweet Niece!

Our Sweet niece Ivy was born this past Sunday and after much anticipation she is finally here! yeah!! Ivy is absolutly beautiful as you can see! Just holding her made me miss having a newborn! i can hardly remember tyson being so small and fragile!! Time really flys!Congradulations Robbie and Kara! We are so excited for you! You two will be amazing parents! We love you!

Well this is my attempt to start our family a...BLOG! Much thanks to my wonderful sister in law Kara who helped me get this thing started!... So i figured that it was about time that we jump on the blogging bandwagon! It seems like a great way to keep friends and family up to date!
